Account books, 1846.

A receipt book contains names of laborers with amounts paid and deducted. The laborers appear to have been both Irish immigrants and Pennsylvania Germans from Berks County. A cash book contains the contractor's expenses, including payments for boarding and meals, construction materials, services and wages.
